The Allman Brothers Band rolled into Robinsonville, MS to play the Horseshoe Casino on September 27th, which, with a capacity of 1,500, is one of smallest venues the band has played in years.  The ABB delivered a solid show, including the opening “Don’t Want You No More/Not My Cross to Bear,” an extended “Done Somebody Wrong,” and a tribute to the Delta with “44 Blues” and “Gilded Splinters.”  “It Stoned Me” was sweet, “You Don’t Love Me” was swinging, and “Rockin’ Horse” contained a free-form slide movement from Derek Trucks that was riveting.   Closing with a smoking “Elizabeth Reed” and “One Way Out,” this is a nice addition to your summer tour collection.
