The Brothers closed last night with a bang and started this show right where they left off. One Way Out is usually an encore song but tonight it started the show off - with Bernie Williams as a guest no less! The crowd sung along on Midnight Rider and Derek killed it on his solo in High Cost of Low Living. After the newest instrumental, Bag End, and Warren's hit song from "Man In Motion" with Ruthie Foster, the rest of the set was flavored with the backing of the incredible Juke Horns.
The second half started off with another imaginative acoustic set, including an "a capella" rendition of Grinning in your Face. Susan Tedeschi and Ruthie Foster absolutely tore up The Weight with their expressive voices as the band and the horns had fun with the outro. The banjo in Les Bres was a first and, like many other experiments that the Bros try, this one worked out fine. The upbeat Revival wound everything up and sent the crowd home smiling!
